Adding A Web User to More Than One Organization

A web user can be associated to more than one organization. This allows grant writers or employees who are employed at more than one nonprofit to apply on behalf of multiple organizations while maintaining one record in Grant Edge (GE) and Spectrum NXT (avoiding duplicates).

  1. In Grant Edge Classic (GE Classic) click Records > Constituents > All Constituents > search for correct record.
  2. To open the record click Web User tab.
  3. Click the Add New Org hyperlink > Lookup.
  4. In the new window locate the organization, highlight it and click Open. If the organization is not found, search the Raisers Edge (RE) database by clicking RE Search.
  5. Save the organization and use the drop-down menu to assign an access level for this organization.
  6. Click Save and Close.

Constituents can use Spectrum NXT to toggle between the organizations they are associated with to submit applications or view board dockets.

  1. Login to Spectrum NXT.
  2. Click My Profile > see a list of organizations under My Organizations. Change organization using the radio button next to the Organization Name > click Switch to Selected Organization.
  3. The Spectrum NXT user is now logged in on behalf of the new organization.
