What is the Media Tab for?
The Media tab allows users to attach files including MS Word, Adobe PDF, MS Excel, graphic (bmp, jpeg, tiff, etc.), videos, sounds, etc. to a record. File size not to exceed 25MB. Records that allow media are Scholarship, Proposal, and Grant.
Adding Media:
- Open the record.
- Media tab > New.
- Enter a description.
- If the file is stored locally click Browse to find the attachment to upload. When the attachment has been located, click the Open button and the attachment link is saved to the system.
- The Path field also allows for a full URL to be added to link to a specific web page; copy and paste the URL from a web browser to ensure it is accurate.
- Save and Close.
