Converting Correspondence Templates

Older correspondence templates may need to be converted into the proper format. Foundation Cloud Grants has an easy-to-use tool to assist the user in this process.

1. Hover over Settings > select Correspondence.
2. Templates that need to be converted are indicated by the color red.
3. Use the Ellipses next to the template name to open a dropdown list > click Edit. 
4. In the new modal, ensure all fields marked with an asterisk are valid.
5. The Subject Line now handles merge fields, drag and drop the desired fields from the list on the right into the subject line.
6. Save. The system will convert the file format in the background - the template is ready to use!
