Financial Edge vendor record is not created after creating constituent record in online grant request

I created a new constituent through the online grant request in Foundation Cloud Grants and discovered that a new constituent was created in Raiser's Edge, but a Financial Edge vendor record was not created.

Answer:

There are two buttons for creating constituents in Foundation Cloud Grants and each has a different function. 

The 'Create Constituent' button only creates Raiser's Edge constituent records:

The 'Create New RE NXT Constituent' record button creates both the Raiser's Edge constituent and the Financial Edge vendor record:

• You can optionally choose to create the RE NXT Constituent externally first and then later link the Constituent on the Grant Request.

Steps to Duplicate:

1. In Foundation Cloud Grants, edit the grant request and click 'Create Constituent' to create and link the new constituent:

2. Note that in Raiser's Edge, the constituent record is created.

3. Note that in Financial Edge the vendor record was not created.
