Missing Contact Information

Organization records can have multiple contacts associated, those contacts originate in Raiser's Edge (RE) and sync into Grant Edge Classic (GE Classic) during an overnight sync. In GE Classic, the user can see a list of associated contacts on the organization record.

To See Associated Contacts:

  1. Records > Constituents > All Constituents > search for the organization. 
  2. Open the organization constituent record.
  3. Click the Contacts tab.

When an organization is added to a grant in GE Classic the user can toggle between which contact to use for that grant. On the Grant Details tab of the grant, the user can choose a contact by clicking the RE icon next to the Recipient Address box. To ensure the contact information is available in GE Classic for selection within a grant, follow these steps in RE:

  1. Click the RE icon next to the Recipient field.
  2. In the new RE window open the Relationships tab.
  3. There will be a list of contacts associated with this organization, open the missing contact.
  4. In the new window open the General 2 tab.
  5. Select the Primary Addressee and Primary Salutation.
  6. Clear both the check boxes named Editable?.
  7. Save and Close both windows in RE.
  8. The contact of the organization that was missing from the list in GE Classic is now available to chose within a grant.
