Query field creation failed

When clicking +Add to Query Screen from an online web application, this error may appear.

Steps To Duplicate: 

1.  Login to Foundation Cloud Grants (FCG)
2. Navigate to Online Apps > Online Apps 
3. Locate the profile web application > click Config
4. Click +Add to Query Screen
5. See the error on the bottom right hand corner - "Query field creation failed. Check the system logs for details".
6. Open the system logs in Settings > View Activity > System Logs > look for the Log Date and Time of error which will say - "ERROR: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Incorrect syntax near 'Proposal'"

Answer:

This error is caused by special characters in the name of the web application - in this case the word Proposal has quotations around it. Edit the title to remove the special characters and save. Note: Special characters can remain in the Application Title filed on the Web Settings tile.

1. Click Edit on the top left of the page
2. Remove the special character(s) > Save.
