The Pool cannot be deleted because it has been used when trying to delete a pool

When attempting to delete a pool for which there are no posted batches, the following message occurs, "The pool cannot be deleted because it has been used," occurs. If the pool has no posted batches, it should be able to be deleted.

Answer:

This message occurs due to funds being added to the pool. In order to delete the pool, go to Pools, open the pool in question and delete all of the fund records from the pool and then click save. Once all of the funds are removed from a pool, then the pool can be deleted.
