Troubleshooting RE and FE Connections and Missing Icons

Connecting Grant Edge Classic (GE Classic) and Grant Edge NXT (GE NXT) to Raisers Edge (RE) and Financial Edge (FE)

GE NXT Connection:

1. Start with the GE NXT connection. 

2. Log into GE NXT with user credentials.

3. Check the connection by looking in the upper right corner for the connection indicators.

4. In the screenshot below, RE (orange icon) and FE (green icon) are NOT connected.

5. Click one of the triangles.

6. In the screenshot from Step 5, the green (FE) triangle was clicked and popped up a window asking to connect. Answer Yes.

7. If the connection is available, it should connect and change the icon to interlocked chain links as seen in the below screenshot.

GE Classic View:

1. Once the GE NXT connection has been proven/established, check for the GE Classic View. 

2. Login to the NPact/Fusion Labs Citrix Site (https://portal11.fusionlabshosting.com) with user credentials.

3. When presented with the GrantedGE Classic icon, click on that icon to open GE. 

4. Log in with the same user credentials as they were used to ensure the connection to GE NXT. 

5. For troubleshooting, ensure “Login to CRM System” and “Login to Finance System” are NOT selected. 

6. Once logged in, click on the Connect links for CRM and Finance on the Home Screen for GE.

7. If they turn to green and display Disconnect – the user has connected.

8. If the User's icon connection links have disappeared from the GE Classic Home Screen, they can be reinstated.
