Article summary

One of my donors have an Unsubmitted Recommendation but I notice it didn't increase the "Pending Suggestions" in DonorCentral. Shouldn't that impact it?

Steps To Duplicate:

When a person uses DonorCentral and goes to submit a grant:

  1. Click recommendations tab
  2. Click New
  3. Select recipient and click next
  4. Choose funding source and the amount and click next

                   5. Click "Save for later".

This is considered a "Unsubmitted Recommendation" and it is listed under the Home tab

Answer:

"Pending suggestions" under the Fund Details are only grant suggestions that were submitted and have not been approved or disapproved in FIMS by the Organization.

An "Unsubmitted Recommendation" is a recommendation that is essentially a "draft". It still has the ability to be edited and updated and doesn't impact "Pending Suggestions" until it has been officially submitted.
