Add User Defined Codes to the Profile Record
User defined codes work with a user-defined code table. You can use these fields to further categorize the Profile record. For example, you could create user-defined fields that indicate the Profile’s giving club designation, or whether they receive an annual report.
Note: These fields will not appear for data entry until you have assigned labels to them. Refer to Configuring Labels for Profile User-Defined Code Fields for more information.
1. In the Profile Management module, make sure that the desired Profile record is open (or select it from the Profile Data Grid), and then click the Profile 2 tab.
2. In the User Defined Codes section, click the arrow in each drop-down box and select the desired code.
Example: User Defined Codes
Note: The first two user-defined fields require you to use the drop-down box and select an existing code. In the second two fields, you can either select an existing code or type in up to six characters of free-form text (for example a date).
3. Click the Save button on the toolbar.
