Canadian Charity Number Use Case

Tip: Community foundation Administrator rights are required to access Control panel features in the application.

In this use case, we want to customize the grant recommendation form to include the Canadian Charity Number field.

1. Select Control panel, Recommendation form.

2. On the Grant form setup page, select the Charity button.

3. Under Basic components, select Text Field and drag and drop it into the New Charity section.

4. In the Text Field Component pop-up, on the Display tab, enter Canadian Charity No. in the Label field.

5. Select the API tab.

6. Enter CharityCanadianNumber in the Property Name field.

7. Select the Conditional tab.

• Under This component should display, select true.
• Under When the form component, select Add a new charity (IsNewCharity).
• Under Has the value, enter true.

8. Select Save. The Canadian Charity No. field displays on the form.

9. Select Save form.
