When I run the cash call process to replenish my balances, I am only getting the funds that were negative. I am not picking up any funds that are below the minimum balance, but not negative. I don't understand why these are being skipped.
Answer:
If your goal is to maintain a standard fixed balance amount in any asset account for a group of funds, one process you can use is cash call. Although typically not used for this purpose, it can be used to keep balances at a minimum level. Typically the balance would be small enough to cover incidental expense checks and the periodic admin fees assessed. In this example, I used $15,000 where you might typically choose $500 or less.
In the above screenshot, you can see the balance for zero, negative and positive balance funds being increased to a $15,000 balance.
Without proper setup, you will get this report instead:
You are missing 8 accounts - those with current $0 or positive balances.
