Create and Update Profiles

The Profile Management module maintains names, addresses, notes, affiliations, contacts, and relationships between Profile records and other records in FIMS. The main Profile record includes the basic information (like a Rolodex), mailing control fields and Partner information. This information is used by the other FIMS modules as well as to create mailings directly from the Profile Management module.

Note: When you open the Profile Management module for the first time during a FIMS session, the Profile Data Grid, which lists all of the name and address records in your database, opens by default.

Once you create the main Profile record, you can go on to enter additional Profile-related information on the other tabs in the Profile Management module.

Tip: The information on the Profile 1, Profile 2, and Salutations tabs are all part of the main Profile record. The fields on the other tabs in the Profile Management module provide additional information about the Profile and help to connect the Profile to other FIMS modules.
