Error occurred when trying to create an application:
Create Application for Selected Record Num: #### had an error. Column name not found in the SmartDataObject. Update cancelled.
Also noted that when importing grants it shows that there is no grantee name however on DonorCentral there is a grantee listed.
Answer:
This issue was customer specific in which a recurring suggestion that was disabled due to the grantee record no longer being available due to changes that occurred in FIMS and then that suggestion was re-enabled and then imported into FIMS. When the suggestion was imported into FIMS it showed no grantee ID due to the grantee record having been changed in FIMS from which the recurring suggestion was originally created.
Once the application is created, you can choose the valid grantee on the application. Do not check the box saying “Automatically Create New Grantees with no prompt”.
Currently, the ability to re-open disabled recurring suggestions is not available. Disabled recurring suggestions have incorrect data with regard to invalid fund\advisor\grantee records which caused them to be disabled and thus should not be re-enabled using that same data and new recommendations should be created using current fund\advisor\grantee information.
