Creating a New Profile Record (Scholarships)

A Profile (name and address record) must be created for each Applicant before creating their Student record. A Profile must also be created for the institution, prior to creating their Grantee record. You can either enter the Profile from the Profile Management module, or enter it from Scholarship Management as part of the Scholarship entry process.

Refer to Profile Entry for more information on creating Profiles from the Profile Management module.

  1. Verify that the Profile record does not already exist by running the Profile Text Search for all Profiles.
  2. From anywhere in the Scholarship Management module, click either the New Student Profile or New Grantee Profile button on the toolbar. The Profile 1 tab opens (for either the Student or Grantee, depending on the button you clicked).
  3. Enter the necessary information for the Profile record, and then click the Save button on the toolbar to save the basic Profile record.
  4. (Optional) Click the other Profile-related tabs and enter any additional information about the Profile. Click the Save button when you finish with each tab.

Once the Profile record is saved, you can click the Students tab or the Grantees tab to create the Student or Grantee record.
