Define the Path for Auto Launching Microsoft Word

If you are using the Fund Statement button on the Fund Management module toolbar to run single Fund statements, you must define the path to the Word executable on your system.

Note: If you auto launch Word for any other exports (for example, the Fund Statement Export or Gift Acknowledgements), this may already be done.

1. From anywhere in FIMS, select Tools > System Utilities > System Initial Setup. The System Initial Setup window opens.

2. Click the Word Processing tab.
3. In the Path to Word Executable field, enter the drive, directory, and executable name for Microsoft Word.

4. Click OK.
