    Donor and Gift Report Tables

    The following tables contain Donor and Gift information for posted and unposted Gifts. FIMS maintains summarized information in the Donor, Donorhistory, Foundation, and FundSummaryHist files.

    IMPORTANT: The FundDetailHistory table is necessary if you need to include Fund information on a Gift listing (because a single Gift can be distributed to more than one Fund).

    Donor

    Personal Fields:

    Secretary,

    Social Security Num.

    Codes:

    Donor Class,

    Ethnic,

    Occupation,

    Rank,

    Source,

    Solicitor.

    Lifetime Giving Statistics:

    Total Contributions,

    Amount and date of First, Last, and Largest Gift.

    Donor and Gift Management: All fields on the Donor tab.

    Profile Management: Fields at the bottom of the Giving History tab.

    One record per Donor per giving year – annual summary statistics:

    Year,

    Largest Gift,

    Number of Gifts,

    Total Gifts.

    Profile Management: Giving History tab (Summary information).

    Unposted Gifts:

    Gift Amount (the total amount),

    Gift Date,

    Acknowledgement Address,

    Codes:

    Acknowledgement,

    Anonymous,

    Match,

    Purpose,

    Type,

    Solicitor,

    Honorary / Memorial.

    Text Fields:

    Acknowledgement Comment,

    Gift Comment,

    NOTE: This table contains both Gift and Grant records.

    (Posted Gifts) One record per line item amount given to the Fund:

    FundID,

    Donor Idcode,

    Gift Amount,

    Gift Date,

    Gift Number.

    NOTE: The Tran-amt is the Fund level Gift amount from the Gift Distribution line items.
