A donor who has logged in successfully in the past, but just recently reset their password, may seem to be missing from both Advisor View and Control Panel in DonorCentral.
Steps To Duplicate:
- Donor Resets password from the DonorCentral log in page
- Donor attempts to log in multiple times but after too many failed attempts is locked out
- Employee at the organization logs into DonorCentral and notices this advisor is missing from Advisor View and Control Panel
- Look at the donor profile in FIMS and notice there have been no changes - Email is the same and Fund Associations are the same.
Answer:
Verify that the same email address isn't in two places. To find that out:
A datagrid can be created in the profile module and sort by email or Use the System Integrity Report and make sure to Check DC Email Validation.
If an email is used in two different profiles where there are fund associations to upload to DC then neither are uploaded. It is also recommended to remove the fund association as well as the email off of the duplicate profile. For example, if there is a business and a personal profile but both use the same email address and have the same fund association to the same fund, there can be conflicts. Only one of the profiles should have the fund association and the email.
