Article summary

When grants have been created in FIMS from DonorCentral the Program Name field has many spaces before the grant purpose text starts. The spaces are not shown in DonorCentral and in FIMS only under the Program Name field.

Answer:

This issue was specific to the suggestion in question. The original master recurrence contained a space most likely due to the advisor having copied and pasted text to the program name field and thus every future occurrence will also have a space.

This issue was corrected by fixing the space issue in FIMS.

Steps To Duplicate

  1. Creating the grant in DonorCentral - the field name is Purpose
  2. In FIMS, the Program Name shows spaces
  3. Going back to DonorCentral, there are no spaces in the Grant Purpose field
  4. Mapping show that Grant Purpose field is mapped to Program Name field in FIMS
