DonorCentral Welcome Email Sent to Individual that had access removed in fund associations
After having removed the fund association for a fund that is in DonorCentral, the user received a welcome email. Users who have their fund associations removed should not receive welcome emails, why does this occur?
Answer:
We are currently investigating this issue. In the meantime, the work-around is to turn off Real Time Sync for fund advisors prior to making changes to the profile in FIMS:
This should be done prior to making any profile changes to profiles associated to funds that are in DonorCentral:
1. In FIMS, go to Tools > System Utilities > DonorCentral > Donor Central Options > Real Time Sync
2. Go to the Real Time Sync Section, RTS_Fund_Advisors
3. Set the option for Off
4. Click Apply and OK
5. Make any changes needed to the profile, including updating information on the profile, deleting the profile or removing fund associations
6. Once completely done with any changes made to the profile you can turn back on the real time sync for fund advisors.
