    Donors’ First Gifts Report

    This report provides a list of the first Gifts that Donors made to the organization.

    You can make selections based on the first Gift Date and a Fund range.

    NOTE: You can access this report from anywhere in FIMS by selecting Reports > Gifts > Donor Reports > Donors’ First Gifts.

     Donors’ First Gifts Report Fields

    Field

    Description

    ID Code

    The Donor’s ID code.

    Alpha Sort Field

    The Donor’s sort name.

    First Gift Date

    The date when the first Gift was received.

    First Gift Apply Date

    The G/L apply date for the Gift.

    Gift Amount

    The amount of the Donor’s first Gift.

    Fund ID

    The initial Fund that received the Donor’s first Gift.

     Running the Donors’ First Gifts Report

    1. In the Donor and Gift Management module, select Reports > Donor Reports > Donors’ First Gifts. The Donors’ First Gifts Selection Criteria window opens.

    2. Enter the first Gift Date Range that you want to include in the report.
    3. If you only want to see first Gifts that were applied to specific Funds, enter the desired Fund Range.

    NOTE: You may enter the same Fund in both of these fields if you only want to see results for a single Fund.

    1. Click OK.
    2. Verify the Send To destination, and then click the Run Report button.
