When a profile is copied to create another profile, the Bulk Mail Pointer on the copied profile is auto populated on the newly created profile therefore the new profile's Bulk Mail pointer reflects the copied profile ID instead of it's own profile ID.
A new copied profile should have the Bulk Mail field updated to the profile ID of the new profile.
