When clicking the Patch Level button in Help and About FIMS, the follow error occurs below. After the error occurs and you click OK through the error, then the Patch Level windows opens and it is blank:

This issue occurs due to the Patchlevel.txt file located in npo\found\dbfiles having invalid lines. The lines could include patch names with an underscore, or other lines such as non-alphabetic characters. The patchlevel.txt file tracks all patches run on the system and contains the FIMS user name who ran the patch.
To resolve, go to npo\found\dbfiles and open the Patchlevel.txt file in Notepad. Delete any lines that are not patch related with for example odd characters, or if there is a patch line that has an underscore in the patch name.
Here is an example of a valid patch level file. Yours will have different entries depending on what was run on your system. The FIMS user name has been erased from this screenshot, but in your file you will see the FIMS user name who ran each patch:
