OR

  3. Choose to export data and upload to DonorCentral
  4. Upload runs

  6. Review the FTP log in \npo\found\eAdvisor\FTP and an error exists
Answer:

This issue occurred because the configuration information for the Data Transfer files was not updated which typically gets done during upgrades, but in this case was not done.

To resolve, do the following. Be sure to do this while logged into FIMS on the database server:

1. Go to FIMS | Tools | System Utilities | DonorCentral | Setup DC Upload
2. Just click the save button and that will update the configuration information.

You may receive the following error, "MicroEdge.DonorCentral.Data Transfer.exe config not copied to NPO\Found\EAdvisor\FTP". If so, see the following article:
Error MicroEdge DonorCentral Data Transfer exe config not copied to NPO Found EAdvisor FTP when Saving DC Upload Settings

If the steps above do not work, then do the following:

1. Make a copy of the following files to keep for backup purposes:

\npo\found\eAdvisor\FTP\Blackbaud.DFM.Integration.DataTransfer.exe.config
\npo\found\eAdvisor\Prog10\Blackbaud.DFM.Integration.FIMS.CLI.exe.config

2. Re-name the copies you created to something like-old on the end
3. Delete these two files now that you have backed them up:

\npo\found\eAdvisor\FTP\Blackbaud.DFM.Integration.DataTransfer.exe.config
\npo\found\eAdvisor\Prog10\Blackbaud.DFM.Integration.FIMS.CLI.exe.config

4. Go to Tools\System Utilities\Run Procedure
5. Browse to the 'GUI\Tools\Update\dfmConfigAud.p' file which will recreate the files above which were deleted.
