    1. Log into DonorCentral
    2. Click recommend a grant
    3. Fill in fields
    4. Click Next
    5. Error: submit form failed & Application Exception Edit file metadata failed
    6. Grant recommendation does not save.
    Answer:
    This issue was caused by a failed opportunity. Development was able to clear out the broken opportunity which in this specific instance was a test\demo opportunity and the issue was resolved.
