Thank you for your feedback
If other users are able to get into FIMS without errors and you are using a Windows 10 workstation and get this error, then it may be an issue with the network mapped drive.
Answer:
A possible solution is to use the hostname for the FIMS shortcut instead of the mapped drive. Try the following:
- Right click on the FIMS shortcut and click on properties from the menu
- In the Target field, we will be changing it to the following:
- \\{Hostname of Server}\NPO\dlc\bin\prowin32.exe -pf \\{Hostname of Server}\npo\found\configfiles\wfound.pf -ini \\{Hostname of Server}\npo\found\configfiles\fimsnt.ini
- {Hostname of Server} = the name of the FIMS server. If you do not know the name of the server, look at the N drive in My Computer. It will say NPO on xxxx (xxxx is the name of the server).
- In the Start In field, we will be changing it to the following:
- \\{Hostname of Server}\npo\found\fims
- Click apply and ok
- Try running FIMS again
