To resolve do the following:
1. Contact the user referenced in the message and ask if they are running the process in question.
2. If they are running the process, coordinate a time when they will be done.
3. If they are not running the process, ask if the user can log out of FIMS and back in
4. Try the process listed below to see if the lock can be cleared:

Steps To Duplicate

  1. In Accounts Payable - Open Items, Click on Processes tab.
  2. Highlight Print Checks and click Run Process.
  3. Enter check information.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Print check. 
  6. Click Post to History and G/L.
  7. Run report to screen.
  8. Receive error: Database status: APTran in use by  [user], 12 on [servername]. Wait or choose Cancel to stop. 2624.
  9. Click Cancel.
  10. Returned to FIMS menu.
