    Error eAdvisor\History\gl_master.txt was not found. (293) when Posting the GL Journal for Gifts in FIMS on Azure Cloud

    When posting the GL journal for gifts, the following error occurs:
     eAdvisor\History\gl_master.txt was not found. (293)

    This issue can also occur when posting GL for grants, posting FACTS journal entries, automatic entries, asset rebalancing, admin fees, spending policy or manual journal entries.

    Answer:

    This issue was caused by going from DonorCentral v4 to DonorCentral NXT with regards to the gl_master.txt file.

    This is resolved in FIMS 14.75.


    Steps To Duplicate

    1. Login to FIMS
    2. Click on GIFTS
    3. Click on Unposted GIFTS
    4. Select Gift Edit Report in processes
    5. Click Run Process and post the gift
    6. See the GL journal report appear to post the journal entries for the gift
    7. Post the journal
    8. See message occur in the GL journal posting report.
