When importing grant recommendations from DonorCentral to FIMS with a new grantee, the error, 'ID Code cannot be blank or zero. IDCode Update Cancelled', occurs.
Answer:
This issue is caused by mapping the AdvisorContextId field to profile.idcode. This issue is fixed by changing the mapping to be Ignored.
This needs to be changed to ignored in the DonorCentral Field mapping tool located in Tools\System Utilities\DonorCentral\DonorCentral Suggestion Field Mapping:
Steps To Duplicate
1. Open the suggestion import window in FIMS
2. Click and open the suggestion
3. Click Create Application
4. In window that opens search for an existing grantee and hit enter
5. See the message, 'Do you want to create this grantee?.....' Click OK
6. See the message, 'Do you want to want to automatically add the affiliation...to the grantee?' Click Yes
7. See error occur. Note that Grantree IDcode field is blank.
