Error: You tried logging in with an email address that is not recognized - when logging into DonorCentral

When logging into DonorCentral, instead of being able to proceed the user may see Error: You tried logging in with an email address that is not recognized.

To resolve:

1. Check and see if the user is in DonorCentral. To do that, check Control Panel\Site Administration\Users.

2. If the user is in Control Panel\Site Administration\Users and the user still gets the message, have the user follow the instructions on the error message that occurs to click the link in the message, then log out and then log back in:

• Click the link in the message shown
• Upon clicking the link, the user will be directed to a new page
• Log out of that page
• Then Log back in and now the user should be logged into DonorCentral
