When running a gift history report to graphical viewer using the Donor Giving by Year Report layout, it appears with three columns for the years but when choosing to export to spreadsheet or screen using the same report layout, there are no longer 3 columns for years, all years go into one column.
In graphical viewer, there used to be an option to export to Excel but that is no longer there.
Steps To Duplicate:
- Go to Reports > Grants > All Applications report
- Set date range
- Choose graphical viewer on the send to tab
- Notice the export button looks different than before and the export options are significantly reduced. Excel, Word, and HTML are all missing.
Answer:
This issue is resolved in FIMS 14.71. All Graphical Reports now offer an export to a Microsoft Excel Workbook (XLS, XLSX) spreadsheet. Note: It is always best to use the Spreadsheet option if it exists on the Send To tab in FIMS Report Selections when available.
