Why is the fund id column empty in this datagrid I created for applications?
Answer:
The Fund ID field in the application record is actually the scholarship fundid. For regular grant applications it would therefore be a blank value. For scholarships this value plus the (AppHi) Schol Number field together make up the scholarship selected for the application.
In some earlier versions of FIMS, the label on the field was fund id. This was confusing and misleading. In more recent versions of FIMS, the label is now (AppHi) Schol Fund ID to more accurately represent the value. If choosing this value for display in the data grid, you should also choose the (AppHi) Schol Number value to correctly identify the particular scholarship being chosen.
