FIMS Chart It
Overview – FIMS Chart It
FIMS Chart It allows you to create ad-hoc charts containing the data in your FIMS Data Grids or the Dynamic Data Grid inquiry. There are 14 types of charts that you can use to display your data, including bar, pie, line, and area charts.
Every column of data in the Data Grid is available for charting, and you can select one or more columns to appear in a single chart. If you select multiple columns, each one is displayed in the chart with its own unique color for easy comparison.
FIMS Chart It includes powerful formatting features.
For example:
- View charts in either two or three dimensions
- Display separate series stacked, side-by-side, or clustered (one behind the other).
- Adjust colors
- Define axis labels and chart titles
- Configure numeric formats, and other presentation criteria.
You can also easily print charts or copy and paste them into other applications to help create presentations. The Copy-to-Clipboard feature allows you to copy a chart to the Windows clipboard and paste it as a graphic into Word, or to copy the data itself and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet for further processing.
NOTE: Refer to Data Grids in the Introduction for more information about configuring your Data Grid views to include specific data.
