  5. Run a Full Donor Profile report in FIMS > Reports > Gifts > Donor Reports > Full Donor Profile Report
  6. In Selection, choose the same Donor ID
  7. On the Soft Credit tab, choose Include
  8. Run the report
  9. Notice there is not soft credit data, only gifts
  10. Rerun the report
  11. On the soft Credit tab, choose Separate
  12. Nothing has changed on the report, and there is still no soft credit information.
Answer:
The Soft Credit History report can be used for reporting on soft credit information. Regarding the full donor report, the soft credit amount shows in the detailed gift section.

The soft credit will not show up for a donor in the detailed section if the donor did not give a gift which had a soft credit attached.

The difference between include and separate is that the detailed gift section will show the soft credit in the soft cred column or will show the soft credit as part of the gift, this option was for cross-referenced soft cred which is currently not being used.
