Article summary

Fund Associations Tab (Funds)

The Fund Associations tab provides a list of Profile records that are associated with the current Fund record. A person can be associated with a Fund, and the association may be categorized with a user-definable Fund Rep code.

Note: The fields on this tab are not all visible at one time. Use the horizontal scroll bar on the bottom of the tab (or resize the FIMS window) to see all of the available fields.

Note: If you select a Profile from the list and then click the View Profile button, the Profile Management module will open in a separate window where you can view and edit Profile information (for any tab for the selected Profile). This allows you to work in the Profile Management module without closing the Fund Management module. If the Fund is associated with more than one Profile, you can click the Next or Previous buttons on the toolbar to switch between them while viewing the Profile information.

You can create Fund Associations from either the Profile Management module or the Fund Management module. Once you create a Fund Association in one module, it automatically appears in the other. Refer to Creating Fund Associations in the Profile Management module for more information.

Note: You can also create mass Fund Associations based on existing Fund Associations. Refer to Copying Fund Representatives for more information.
