Fund Management Module Toolbar

The Fund Management toolbar includes two buttons that are specific to using the Fund Management module:

Fund Statement

If you have configured Fund statements for exporting and merging into Microsoft Word, you can use this button to launch Word and create a Fund statement for the selected Fund.

Refer to Setting up Single Fund Statements for more information.

Note: If you use Crystal Reports with FIMS, you can set this button to run your Crystal Reports Fund statements.

Tip: You can also launch Word and create a Fund statement by pressing Alt+Ctrl+S on your keyboard.

Fund Folder

Opens a Windows folder where you can store additional information about each Fund, including word processing files, faxes, or scanned documents and images.

The name of the folder is based on the Fund ID.

Note: You must set up a parent folder (Explore_Dir) via Tools > System Utilities > System Options before using this button. Refer to System Options – Funds for more information.

The Fund folder is automatically created on your system (as a sub-folder of the parent folder) the first time you click the Fund Folder button.

If the Fund ID is changed, the system will automatically change the name of the folder.

Tip: You can also open this folder by pressing Alt+Ctrl+F on your keyboard.
