Gift History Data Grid

The Gift History Data Grid lists all posted Gifts in FIMS.

To find a Gift, click the arrow in the Search By drop-down box and select the field that you want to search by, and then enter the first few characters of your search criteria in the Find Record field. The Data Grid will automatically scroll down as you enter each character. You can also click the Find Again or Find All buttons to jump to the next matching record in the list.

To open the selected record, make sure it is highlighted in the list and then either double-click on the record, or click any tab.

Note: You can configure the Data Grid to display any fields that are associated with Gifts. Refer to Configuring View Settings in the Introduction for more information on customizing your views.

Gift History Data Grid

Tip: Gift History Data Grids

FIMS has three Gift History Data Grids. All of these Data Grids allow you to view and open the historic Gift records:

• Profiles: Click the Gifts radio button on the Giving History tab to see a grid of posted Gifts from the selected Profile/Donor.

• Donor and Gift Management: The Gift History Data Grid in the Donor and Gift Management module lists all posted Gifts. You can also get this information on the History tab under the Donors Supertab.

• Fund Management: Click the Gift Detail tab to see a grid of historic Gifts to the selected Fund.
