Global Change Program

The Global Change Program is a tool that can be used to change data on a system level for all records. It is recommended to copy live to demo and do any global changes in the demo database first since any global changes are irreversible.

In general, the tool works by selecting the main data file that contains the fields to change. After you choose the main table, you then choose the field to change and enter in the old value and then the new value that you would like for the field selected. The tool would look for all records containing the old value and replace with the new value.

In the field to limit by, you can choose to limit the changes based on certain fields.
