Globally Changing Confirm Dates

The Change Confirm Dates for a FACTS Pool utility allows you to globally change the Confirm Date for a range of FACTS Transactions.

This utility is commonly used to shift the Confirm Date of monthly administrative fee disbursements from each Fund in the Pool (for example to move the Transactions to the first day of the next Cycle).

1. In FACTS, select File Maintenance > Change Confirm Dates. The Change Confirm Dates for a FACTS Pool window opens.

2. Click the arrow in the Select a Pool drop-down box and select the desired Pool.
3. Enter the New Confirm Date you want to use (for example, the first day of the next Cycle).
4. Enter the current Confirm Date Range for the Transactions that you want to update.
5. (Optional) If you only want to change the date for specific Transactions, enter the Document Number Range for the appropriate Transactions.
6. Click OK. A confirmation message opens to verify your selections and make sure you are ready to proceed.
7. Click Yes. A message will appear to tell you how many records were changed.
