Article summary

When manually changing the status of grant to Processed the grant is no longer found in the Funds tab.

Steps To Duplicate:

1.     Go to DonorCentral> Control Panel> Site Admin> Submitted Recommendations
2.     Click on ellipsis button
3.     Click Change Status

4.     Change status from Pending to Processed

5.     Go back to fund> Grant tab> Grant no longer in pending but also not in approved

Answer:
This is working as designed. Updating the status of a suggestion in DC NXT to "Processed" is a way of indicating that the recommendation is not linked to an approved grant in FIMS, but in general there is a separately created grant in FIMS that was created and is tracking instead. You can link that grant back to the donor in order for the "Approved" totals to update correctly in DonorCentral.

To link the grant in FIMS to the donor who made the recommendation in DonorCentral, check the posted application contact sub-tab, Advisor field. Be sure that the advisor is filled out there and that that advisor is on the fund association tab of the fund.

Changing status to process removes it from both Pending, in process, approved and paid grants. The only way a grant shows as approved or paid is they are uploaded from FIMS.

The purpose of changing to Processed is to remove duplicates where a user had manually created a grant application in FIMS and uploaded.
