Grantee Status Check Does not Occur when Creating Applications from Imported Suggestions from DonorCentral however it does occur when manually creating an application in the grant module.
Answer:
This is resolved in FIMS 14.73.
When creating applications from a DonorCentral recommendation import, FIMS now checks the grant amount and the available amount to spend, as well as checking to confirm whether the grantee can accept grants.
We’ve also added a new option to check for warnings when creating applications. This option can be turned off if you do not want to check for warnings. The warnings now include the fundid and idcode.
Steps To Duplicate
- Create and submit a suggestion in DonorCentral for a grantee that is marked as not being able to receive grants as set in the status drop down of the grantee record
- In FIMS, open the DC import window and find the suggestion in question and open it
- Click on Create Application
- Note that no warning appears and an application is created
- Go to the grant module, unposted applications and manually create an application and note that the warning does pop up there.
