    Historic Gifts Report

    This report lists Gifts from Gift History, with a grand total of all historic Gift Amounts displayed at the end of the report.

    It is similar to the Gift History report, except that you can only sort and select from Gift history fields, you can only make Fund selections based on the first Fund that a Gift is associated with, and you can only see the total Gift Amount – you cannot break down the amount on the Fund level.

    You can optionally include subtotal lines in this report based on your Sorting criteria (for example, you could sort and subtotal the report based on the Donor).

    NOTE: You can access this report from anywhere in FIMS by selecting Reports > Gifts > Historic Gifts Report.

     Historic Gifts Fields

    Field

    Description

    Gift Number

    The sequential number assigned to each Gift in FIMS.

    Donor

    The report name of the Donor who gave the Gift.

    Gift Amount

    The total amount of the Gift.

    Gift Date

    The date when the organization took ownership of the Gift.

    First Fund

    The name of the Fund that the Gift was initially applied to. If a Gift is applied to more than one Fund, an asterisk appears to the right of the Fund name.

    ID Code

    The Donor’s ID code.
