How can I recover a FieldMaker field that was accidentally deleted?

If you delete the wrong field and realize before committing changes, go to Test and Learn and write down the contents of the Field tab (Name, Data Type and Label) and the properties of the View As box so that you can re-create the field exactly as it was. This may or may not bring the field and its data back.

If you deleted the wrong field and have already committed changes, you can re-create the field, but you will not have access to any data that was in the field before you deleted it. FIMS will see is as a completely new field.
