If you want to change the description of a fund code from the defaults to more closely match your organization's needs you can use Fund Code Maintenance.
Answer:
1. Open the Fund module
2. Click on the File Maintenance menu on the top menu bar
3. Select Fund Code Maintenance
4. Select the field type that you want to adjust
5. Double click on the description that you want to adjust and type changes
6. Click Save
