Thank you for your feedback
If you are trying to delete an Affiliation code from the Affiliation code table and the system won't let you, it is because that code has been assigned to at least one Profile.
Answer:
There is a way to mass delete the code from any Profile that has it.
These steps will remove the code from EVERY profile that has the code and then will delete the code entirely, there is no way to delete the code from just some profiles and not others. This process is all or nothing.
If you have some profiles that need the code, DO NOT do these steps. You will have to manually delete the code from those profiles that do not need the code.
Follow these steps to mass delete the code from Profiles so you can remove the code from the code table:

- Then go to Profile File Maintenance > Delete Temp Affiliation Codes and pick the code you want to mass delete from all Profiles that have it. If you are using Affiliation Code Grouping and you want to delete all the system-generated Group codes associated with that code, check the box that says Delete System Added Group Affiliation Codes.
- Then go to File Maintenance > Profile Code Maintenance > Affiliation, find the Affiliation code, double-click to open, and click the X on the toolbar to delete it.
