How do I fix a fiscal year that has been advanced too many times?

I ran the end of year process and checked the checkbox to Advance the fiscal year, then later I ran the end of year again and forgot to un-check the checkbox and another new year was created, and now my fiscal years have advanced too far, how do I fix that?

Answer:

To change the default year back to an earlier year:

Go to Tools > System Utilities > System Initial Set-up.
Navigate to the Posting tab and in the upper left hand corner.
Change the Fiscal Begin Date, End Date and Curr. Fiscal Year values to the correct values.
Click OK Restart your FIMS session.

Your drop-down year values should now reflect the current fiscal year desired.
