How does the prorate fees back to fund setting work?
I would like to use the prorate fees back to fund setting, how does that work?
Answer:
If you use the prorate fees back to funds feature with a minimum fee, it will calculate one mininum fee that will get pro-rated back to all funds, not separate minimum fees for each fund.
Using the prorate fees back to funds setting, the admin fee report displays the aggregated assessed value along with the total administrative fee prorated back to the individual funds.
In this next example, we can see the aggregated assessed value along with the total administrative fee prorated back to the individual funds. In the Master fund and Sub fund you can see the calculated fee was less than the monthly minimum so the minimum was assessed to the fund that had a value
In the next example, we see two sets of fund groups whose admin fee exceeds the minimum so the fees are allocated back to each of the funds in the group.
