How to adjust the size of the logo added to the DonorCentral Welcome Email

I added a logo to the DonorCentral Welcome email, but the logo in the email body is very large. I have attempted to edit the size using the Image Properties of the file in DonorCentral, but those seem to not work, how can I adjust the size of the logo?

Answer:

1. Open the original logo in a photo editor such as Microsoft Paint.

2. In the photo editor, resize the pixels of the logo for horizontal and vertical measurements:

3. Save the edited image

4. Upload the newly edited image to the site where you publish your images and obtain the URL for the image and then copy the URL.

5. Click the Image button in the body of the DonorCentral Welcome email editor:

6. Paste the URL from the image that you edited in the photo editor in the URL field in the image properties window and then click OK.

Note that when you paste in the URL from the image that you edited in the photo editor that the width and height will match the pixel settings from the photo editor.

7. Send a sample welcome email to yourself to see how the image looks and note that now the image appears as desired. See the section called Send sample automated email message in the article below:
