How to change beginning account balance

NOTE: By changing the beginning balances of accounts you are potentially changing the information that was sent out to Donors on a previous Fund Statement. You may also be altering what is shown on a published financial statement that auditors have previously approved.
 

1. Go to File Maintenance > General Ledger > Enter opening GL Balances
2. Search by account type or fund
3. Enter the new value in the Beginning Balance column next to the account you want to change
4. Click the Save button above the Fund ID column
5. Click close
