How to download files from FIMS on Azure using browser method

I am not able to use FIMS via the remote desktop client app to export files to my local C drive, is there a way to export data from FIMS using the browser-based method described in part B of the article below?

Answer:

To export data from FIMS using the browser based method described in part B of the article above, do the following:

1. Access Azure using the steps in section B of the article above.

2. Launch FIMS and log in normally

3. Go to an export process that you would like to use, for example, gift history export.

4. On the Send To tab, click the small disc icon.

5. When you do that, you will see My Files open.

• Note that your local C drive is not visible in My Files using the Browser based method

6. In My Files, choose the Remote Desktop Virtual Drive on RDWebClient and then in that folder select Downloads, then click open and then Save

7. You will see now that the path will change and point to that downloads folder.

8. Click run report and export the data

9. You will notice in the browser that your file was downloaded to the downloads folder on your local computer:
